A popular petition on Change.org that calls for the disqualification of the judges who wrote the wolf-pack judgement absolving five men of the gang rape of an 18-year old woman at the San Fermines festival in 2016 has collected more than one million signatures in 24 hours.
"Given that the court in charge of handing down judgement in the 'Wolf Pack' trial understands that there was no violence or intimidation in this case", says the short accompanying text: "I ask for the judges on that court to be disqualified".
El Mundo reported the petition was created by a 38-year old self-employed woman, Alba Mariño, from Santiago de Compostela (Galicia).
