Spain's Civil Guard has arrested one unnamed Spanish woman from the town of Viladecans (Catalonia) described as a "coordinator of the so called Committees for the Defence of the Republic (CDR)", the police force confirmed to The Spain Report.

A spokesman said the operation was being directed from the National High Court in Madrid (Audiencia Nacional) and that the charges were related to terrorism and rebellion.
